It’s hard to believe it’s been one year since we started this little candle company. We didn’t have any expectations when starting, but the fact that we’re still here speaks to the outpouring of support you’ve all given us.
We’d like to thank every single one of you - our customers, our followers (every single like, share etc. helps more than you know!), Heimlich's Nurseries in Woburn for hosting us for our very first pop-up event and giving us the confidence to sell in-person, and also being our #1 for absolutely gorgeous flowers and plants for our displays (we can’t count the number of times these plants got compliments - arguably, people are more interested in the plants than our candles), the three amazing stores that took a chance on bringing our candles into their shops The Hiccup in Swampscott, MA, Tin Bucket Shop in Reading, MA, and Moody's Home & Gifts in Salem, MA, the farmers’ markets; Wilmington Farmer's Market, Billerica Community Farmer's Market, Melrose Farmer's Market, and the Somerville Flea that allowed us to be part of their communities this summer and fall to grow our customer base.
We'd also like to thank Krysteen and Martine at Meraki Spa, in Lynnfield, MA, for hosting us for two pop-up shops at their Lynnfield location. They both work so hard to support and elevate other small, local businesses by giving them a beautiful place to display and sell their products at no cost to them.
This October we had the absolute pleasure of being in Salem, MA - a place near and dear to us for the Haunted Happenings Marketplace put on by the Creative Collective throughout Derby Square and Salem Common. We are still stunned that were are able to be a part of this record-breaking year in Salem. And we'd also like to thank the many, many, many people who visited our table from around the US, and, in doing so, expanded our customer base further around the country! This was truly an incredible experience for us, and our soy candle business, and it was even record-breaking for ourselves, as well.
Most recently, Tin Box Jewelry and Rooted in Glass, two other small, Woburn-based businesses, invited us to take part in their amazing pop-up shop at Wayside Commons in Burlington, MA! Their shop features many local makers, artisans and crafters who use sustainable practices! You can find our small-batch, hand-poured, 100% soy candles here until January 1st! Find the pop-up at 6S Wayside Road, Burlington, MA 01803.
Thank you all for the love, support, encouragement, mentorship and friendship we’ve received from all of you, and for helping us give back to the environment in various ways! None of this would be possible without any of you, and for that we are so grateful. 🌿🔥
📸: We also can’t forget, @m.mattscheck for taking these beautiful professional photos for our website and social media at one of our first farmers markets. Thank you!
